From time to time I get emails or IM's asking me about techniques that I've applied to artwork. While I don't feel the need to share everything that I try and/or learn, I can provide [what are hopefully] helpful tutorials on some basics.
Remember - each artist should try their hand at taking a tip and molding to their style. Do not be afraid to click everything in your program. Do not be afraid to think outside of the nice and tidy box. I am constantly trying to add new effects and looks to my work - I feel that is the only way to grow. And I have stumbled across some truly cool things in my over-zealous clicking. I also ask a lot of other artists about their work and specific effects.
I've rambled enough now - let's get to the tutorials.
